What is the absorbency level of menstrual thongs?

Our menstrual thongs absorb 1 to 2 medium-flow tampons. You can use them as your sole protection or in addition to intravaginal protection for heavier flows.

How long a day can you wear a menstrual thong?

Our Perdieme menstrual thong can be worn for up to 12 consecutive hours for light to medium flow. Therefore, it's important to ensure the absorbency level is sufficient for your flow, depending on the time of your cycle.

Are menstrual thongs suitable for heavy flow?

The menstrual thong is ideal for light flows (1-2 tampons). For heavy flows, use it in addition to internal protection.

How to wash a menstrual thong?

Rinse in cold water, then machine wash at 30°C without fabric softener in a laundry bag to avoid tearing the lace. Air dry.

How to use your Menstrual Tanga

As easy to use as period panties, the menstrual thong is absorbent and will hold 8mL of flow, or 1 to 2 medium tampons.
All you need to do is put it on in the morning and keep it on for 12 hours during the lightest days of your cycle.
If you wish to wear it during your heavy flow days, you can combine the thong with a menstrual cup or tampon.
